The Jobcenter ecosystem of low-wage jobs procurement demands a sacrifice and @Sanktionsfrei.de sacrifices the simplest common sense.

To the initiated this is obviously a reference to one of the greatest jazz-rock bands in time, Colosseum.

In the German Netherworld of Hartz IV, aka government-guaranteed sustained poverty, this ecosystem is flourishing. Flourishing, because it is a business. A business, in which various strata of society are engaged in keeping the machine humming and letting other folks take the sacrifice. With good and noble intentions of course.

There are the H4 "Deplorables", reliably shunning solidarity, yet kicking left and right among themselves.

There are self-aggrandizing whistleblowers who find their contentious workplace so attractive that they insist on being able to work there. It helps to have the mindset of a woman.

And, of course, you have society's assholes who crop up everywhere where easy money can be gained. IOW, the fucking lawyers who have understandably no incentive to question H4 in any form seriously. After all, it is such a good and easy business with a pliable clientele and they do their best to prevent H4 customers from churning. The machine has to be kept humming.

Put the last two together in bed and what you get is a sexcapade of proportions. Sanktionsfrei.de tries in all seriousness to outspend the ministry with the by far largest budget, the Ministry of Labor. They claim to achieve this, hold your breath, by raising donations in order to cover the costs of actually implemented financial sanctions against H4 recipients and thus ultimately coming to nothing. Think of Wile E. Coyote.

That brief moment of zero gravity

What the eager German folks @Sanktionsfrei hate most is any critique of their hare-brained model. So it comes as no surprise that this tweet resulted in being blocked by the blokes @Sanktionsfrei. Free speech never gained much currency in Germany. PC is what counts.

Poverty is a business and nowhere else can that be better seen than in the IDAC, the International Development Aid Circus, where people are kept in their state of misery. Hartz IV is the equivalent on home turf. The government and their concubines, the neoliberal press, do their best to depict H4 as handouts to “lazy moochers” in complete disregard of what H4 really is, an "automatic stabilizer" of the economy.
