Driving 60 mph on HW 395 or I 405 is a little tough for Europeans. An open can of beer, sleeping in the car around Yosemite and such. American cops are absolutely professional.
A German police asshole would have filed a suit based on that ridiculous § 185 STGB and the driver would be fined big time.
