German BDI: "Europe is a unique production network for mutual benefit." #fakenews

In 2016, the German companies sold goods valued at EUR 1.2 trillion - more than ever. That's good news.

It is more than that, it is awesome news, that certainly has and had some critics which you could mostly dismiss because they were economists. Who in his right mind would listen to an economist?

Things have changed though. Most noticibly one guy with a weird hairdo nobody should underestimate spoke up in no uncertain words about these imbalances.

No sweat for those awesome guys at the BDI (Group of German Industries). Quote from the BDI press office:
Germany's renewed export record is proof of the attractiveness of our products. Germany is an export and import European champion. With an import rate of almost 40 percent of gross domestic product, the German economy is one of the world's most open industries for imports from abroad. Last year, Germany introduced goods worth almost one Euro billon. Alone the EU countries were able to sell goods worth more than 700 billion euros on the German market. Europe is a unique production network for mutual benefit.

Let's look at that awesome mutual beneficial effect.
This is how a "mutual benfit" looks in the Eurozone.

Boy, that is quite some network.
