Nassim Nicholas Taleb on Rationality, Risk, and Skin in the Game

"In the previous discussion on Skin in the Game, I spoke about people being morally calibrated, most people. Everybody is morally calibrated, you see?

Removing the tail risk, preventing people from coming back if they inflict a lot of risk on others. Like, for example, warriors. Every warrior--traditionally, society has--we are what we are today because warriors are in battle. So, if you are complete, uncontrollable warmongers like many people in Washington today or some journalists, many think that[?] people, you would end up dying in battle, and these people don't die in battle."
