Number one concern of Germans? Poverty.

You would think that security and safety would be on the top of concerns a German would have these days. Not so. Thanks to the Agenda 2010 of the SPD (and one of the vocal proponents was the soon-to-be holder of the most superfluous job, that of Bundespräsident, FW Steinmeier) it is poverty.

Here is an interesting graph from the World Economic Forum from their article Which countries are on the right track, according to their citizens?

The poll was conducted by Ipos MORI with a strong emphasis on comparing the UK with the rest of the world. Clicking on the above link downloads a set of charts in a single PDF file.

A whopping 68% of Germans believe the country is on the wrong track. Now take a look at Italy and France, both countries with upcoming elections and one with a huge debt load and bankrupt banks. Two countries absolutely crucial to the EU.

82% of Italians believe the country to be on the wrong track, while in France with Le Pen it is a humongous 88%!

Here is one more chart.

According to the poll, 48% of Germans fear poverty. Sure, Germany has high employment but most of the jobs are temp, low pay or those internships often without any remuneration.

Sorry, SPD, but you stand absolutely no chance in 2017 elections.
